Isabella Fritz

Dr Isabella Fritz completed her PhD in English Language and Applied Linguistics at the University of Birmingham (2018) after which she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Language Acquisition and Language Processing Lab at NTNU in Trondheim (Norway).

Before joining the Language and Brain Laboratory at Oxford, her research focused on language comprehension spanning from discourse to phrase level processing using EEG as her main method. In her current work, she expands her research scope to word level comprehension and more specifically to phonological processing.

On the Journey of Words project, Isabella works as a postdoctoral research assistant where she is responsible for the design, execution, and statistical analyses of both behavioural and EEG experiments.
