Sandra Kotzor is a linguist and English language teacher working on language processing, adult bilingualism and language attrition. Her main interests are in determining how multiple languages influence each other during processing and how these insights can be applied practically, for instance in language teaching.
After an MA in English Linguistics, German Linguistics and Applied Linguistics & TESOL at LMU Munich, Sandra completed her DPhil in General Linguistics at the University of Oxford. She has since worked on several research projects in the Language & Brain Lab investigating phonological and morphological processing using both psycho- and neurolinguistics methods.
Sandra is also a Senior Lecturer in English Linguistics and Applied Linguistics at Oxford Brookes University and a Stipendiary Lecturer at St Peter’s College and Hertford College at the University of Oxford. She teaches in the areas of psycholinguistics, (second) language acquisition, cognitive linguistics and TESOL.
